zajímavá debata o stavu populace na EQ2 PvP serverech (a hlavní důvod proč i já mám teď cancellnutej account);

SOE asi před měsícem slíbili, že podají do konce února vyjádření jak chtějí řešit problém PvP EU populace (v 1 čas je za 1 stranu aktivních +-50 lídí!!!); teď přišli s tím, že si každej může přesunout char za 50 US;
no jsem zvědavej jak se to bude vyvíjet, každopádně už nikdy nebudu hrát nic od SOE, jsem zvědavej jak dlouho jim bude trvat než svojí politikou otrávěj většinu hráčů VG;

Mno tak těch topiců je tam na tohle téma mnohem víc. Prostě s 1.3. se roztrhnul pytel dotazem na tento slib. Fakt je že i Nagafenu se snížila populace s Vanguardem a sloučením s Venekorem by se řešilo lecos  |

We're working with the billing team to make it such that CTS transfers off of Gorenaire, Talendor, and Darathar, to other PvP servers (Venekor, Nagafen, and Vox) will be able to be done for no cost to those wishing to transfer to more populated servers

no hlavně to chce na Nagafen nějaký nový maso To že brzo ránu lognu a v KOSU kromě jedné grupy nenajdu žádný maso je dost smutný  |

hmm, jak to povolej přesouvam se na Nagy, hraje tam nějaká česká guilda aktivně za FP?
bude nás víc a zatím nevíme ke komu se připojíme, příp. jestli založíme novou guildu (přesunout MdK z DT asi nepůjde, jen chary...) |

Nechapu, proc by SOE chtelo umoznit transfer (tzn. ne vynutit jako pri ruseni PvE serveru, kdyz vznikaly PvP). To chteji pak mit Darathar, kde budu sam? 
Raidujete na Nagafenu (PvE, nemyslim FP), nebo jenom mlatite lamky z FP?
Mimochodem, nasel jsem "vyborny" bug...a stal me fame a titul
O deset levelu vyssi wizard na me zautocil, kdyz jsem bojoval s mobama. Nikdy jsem utok neopetoval, muj pet take ne. Zabil me nejaky add, kdyz jsem zdrhal. Ale stejne jsem ztratil fame...
A to vsechno kvuli tomu, ze jsem spellshieldem vratil prvni dve kouzla zpatky na tu lamu, takze jsem podle soe zautocil prvni...
Zajimave je, ze kdyz se mi to same stane s mobem, tak me to ani nezatahne do boje, tzn. dal mam ooc rychlost apod. At zije konzistentni chovani.
Kazdopadne spellshield rox. Nedavno se asi jednomu coercerovi nelibilo, kdyz zjistil, jak silna je jeho dotka
Asi doleveluju na lvl 70, abych uz mel od tech cervenych hrdinu konecne pokoj. |

There were a couple hours this morning when our Character Transfer Service (CTS) had allowed characters from PvP worlds to transfer to other PvP worlds a bit earlier than we had expected.
The CTS will be a part of the solution to the EU PvP server population issues, which I'd like to take a minute to talk about.
Here's where we are at the moment, and here's where we're going:
* As of right now, we have PvP -> PvP server transfers functional, but closed off since they need to be tested a bit more before we're confident that all characters will be able to pass through safely. (e.g. all PvP stats are copied correctly, all language and alignment combinations transferred safely, etc.)
* We're working with the billing team to make it such that CTS transfers off of Gorenaire, Talendor, and Darathar, to other PvP servers (Venekor, Nagafen, and Vox) will be able to be done for no cost to those wishing to transfer to more populated servers.
* At the same time, those who wish to transfer between Venekor and Nagafen will be able to do so at the standard CTS rate.
Once the billing changes have been made, and we've verified that the service is safe for PvP character use, we'll open it up and allow those new kinds of transfers.
We're intentionally not forcing transfers on anyone at this stage -- We want the first step in the process to be one where the choice is in your hands as to where you end up.
After that occurs, people will be able to choose their new permanent homes. Over this time we'll be observing carefully to see how that shakes out, and once we have we'll update you again with the next steps in the plan.
On our end, the next step is to work with our billing department on making sure that billing becomes disabled properly for the transfers off of the EU PvP servers, and ensure that the system is safe.
We'll have an update for you soon with more specific ETAs on our next steps.

Greetings, everyone. I wanted to offer an update for where we are on the state of the EU PvP servers.
Our initial plan as I discussed in the original post at http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/posts/list.m?topic_id=350284 is going to be changing slightly, to make sure we're able to do this without much longer of a delay.
What we had hoped would be a simple and timely change to our billing system proved to be a more complex task than there is time to both implement and test properly.
Instead of making you wait through those changes and the testing to follow, we're going to approach the matter from another angle, and hopefully provide a better solution all at once.
1) There will be an abandoned-and-under-level-6 character wipe for level 6 and under characters that have not been played in 60 days on all PvP servers in order to free up names.
2) Venekor will gain the populations of Darathar, Gorenaire, and Talendor. We'll discuss specifics in greater depth by the end of next week and make sure you have significant warning. We'll be doing this step first to ensure that guilds that have advanced together, stay together.
3) Once the PvP server transfers are complete, players on all servers will have a week-long opportunity to transfer their characters for free.
* This will allow affected people who may have instead wanted to play on Vox or Nagafen the chance to transfer their characters to those servers at no cost.
* Characters on PvP servers will be able to transfer to other PvP servers at no cost.
* Additionally, characters on PvE servers will be able to transfer to other PvE servers at no cost.
* Following the one week free-transfer period, PvP <-> PvP character transfers will remain enabled at the standard transfer cost.
Once we have a specific timeline for these steps, we'll post it here. We're aiming to get that timeline post up by the end of next week.

Myslim, ze v situaci, kdy na Venekoru zustane lidem guilda, zatimco na Nagafen by sli solo, asi vyrazne vic lidi zustane na Venekoru.

No, zrovna po tomhle vikendu by me asi slo pretahnout kamkoliv, ale to bych se na to proste jenom vykaslal uplne
Rozhodne nejhorsi vikend v EQ2:
po puldennim zkouseni, jak vyhrat Blades instanci, a premlouvani grupy (resp. ruznych grup; mezitim jsem vzdycky experimentoval solo), aby to pak tak udelala, jsme konecne vyhrali...a nejakej dement mi sebral ten no-trade quest item.- pri vylete do Nestu, kde jsem mj. potreboval update na capku, jiny genius odjel vytahem nahoru, kdyz na nem nikdo jiny nestal...a jeste sam stihl seskocit, takze ani update, ani named
- pri raidu na druhe drakoty na P1 hned na prvni nekomu spadla linka, takze eq2 to vyhodnotilo, ze je to jeho boj...a nikdo nedostal update.
- pak uz jenom dalsi hodina cekani u Darathara, protoze nekdo uz byl v tom kroku...
proste super vikend.
vysvetlil jsem chlapcum, ze kdyz jim jde raidovat T7, tak by mozna meli zvladat T5 aspon stejne rychle...a doufam, ze priste to proste projdeme sedivy, takze jako T7 |

je tu update (snad finální) ohledně EU pvp server merge;
takže see ya na nagafenu za 14 dnů (jestli tam někdo ještě hrajete ) já budu příští týden reaktivovat account abych si natěžil ještě nějakou tu surovinu...
Howdy folks. It's time to give everyone another update on the state of the EU PvP populations. The good news is that this is just about the last update you will need to read. Why? Because the PvP merger tools are in place, tested, and just about ready to go.
Where We Currently Stand
The actual merge process that will bring the populations of Darathar, Gorenaire, and Talendor together with their new friends on Venekor will take approximately one day. The related week of free character transfers for all servers will last, yup seven days. After that seven day period passes, the free transfer window will close and normal services and rates will apply.
As such, the scheduling of these events needs to take place in a timeframe when we have one full week to get it all done without interference. That means we can't have any major updates to the game going on at the same time that we are moving your characters about. Which means the server merge and character transfers have to wait until the next Game Update is in.
Don't Shoot the Messenger!
Wait! Don't get angry! That's good news! Why? Because it's a tricky way of saying "There is a Game Update coming in the next week!" That's right; Game Update #34 is slated to hit the live servers on April 25th, with the usual offset for our international friends. Because of that, the PvP merge and character transfers are going to get started on April 30th.
This gives the dev team extra time to test the tools related to the merge and transfers, and also ensures that we won't have characters moving all about the servers at the same time that we are adding new fundamentals to the game itself.
So, at long last, we have a concrete set of dates to share with you. For our friends in Europe, the light is now in full view at the end of the tunnel, and there are no more questions about when.
In summation:
* Game Update 34 on April 25th.
* PvP server merges on April 30th.
* Then one week of free character transfers.
I'd like to thank everyone for their patience while this was worked out. |

nj SK je na PvP docel ok,ale myslím že na group hru bude pally lepší.SK teď hraje každá socka protože touch na 20lev je dost lákavej
Edit : stejně čekám že "onehiťáky" nerfnou. Swash je sice taky brutus hovado ale okamžitýmu dmg se nevyrovná.Je sakra rozdíl mlatit kontakt a dát range onehit. |

To je, swash (a brigand) je mnohem větší opruz . Navíc je tu nepříjemný rozdíl mezi CA a mezi kouzly (aspoň pro mě jako iluzionistu...teda vlastně hlavně pro toho, kdo tím kouzlem dostane zpátky) |
