další update co by mělo být v dnešním patchi: General * Select captains and wagoners in Old Tarantia, Khemi and Conarch Village have opened up traveling routes deeper into the wilderness! * Shield of the Risen no longer silences the player.
Mounts * Reduced Damage caused by Rhinos/Mammoths charging. * Decreased Rhino/Mammoth collision radius.
Removed * Removed the Bind on Equip feature from this patch due to various issues. Look forward to this feature in an upcoming patch!
Akorát s tím posledním mám problém, já se teda absolutně na něco takovýho netěším. Zase whineři něco vyhráli . Ale s tou první změnou mě potěšili. |

BoE itemy jsou nutne pro lepsi flow predmetu a podporu craftu. Nevim ktere konkretne vyberou, ale osobne to odhaduji, ze blue a epix budou BoE, zbytek bez omezeni. Preci jenom zacina byt AH velice presycena. Obvykle lze nalezt treba i 20 kusu toho sameho modreho itemu, coz nicemu neprospiva. |

Jenze v SWG bylo neco jineho a to poskozovani veci. Jejich oprava se sice dala, ale snizilo ti to celkovou durabilitu (vetsinou). Poskozovani bylo dost drsne, takze jsi equip musel menit kazdou chvili. Navic crafteni itemu bylo relativne jednoduche. Na grind jsi pouzival trebas horsi composite armor, ktery jsi koupil za par slupek. Je v AoC poskozovani? Neni, takze BoE system je gut.
A pro Rahmana po druhe: Ke stavajicimu systemu je lepsi BoE nez durabilita, pripadne oboje. Protoze crafteni itemu neni zase az tak supr easy jak napriklad v SWG bylo.
A pro Rahmana po treti: AOC craft nesaha SWG craftu ani po kotniky. Tak komplexni system nemaji sanci v dohledne dobe udelat a ruku na srdce ani ho delat nebudou. |

BoE pomůže akorát vyděračům co se nemůžou dočkat až budou moct zvednout ceny a manipulovat trhem. Tím akorát nastartují inflaci. Rozhodně si nemyslím, že se tím vylepší ekonomika. A jestli si někdo myslí, že si vydělá craftem, tak je na omylu. |

Aha takze myslis BOE. No BOE je IMO dobre reseni. Neni nic horsiho nez craft, kterej k nicemu neni protoze kazdou vec, kterou vyrobis a nekomu prodas, pak vidis na marketu prodavat znova a znova, protoze neni BOE. Bez niceni se veci a BOE je craft naprosto k nicemu.

Craft v AoC je naprosto k ničemu protože všichni můžou dělat ty stejný věci => příliš mnoho crafterů a málo zákazníků. BoE v tomhle směru ničemu nepomůže, vydělají max ti co budou dodávat suroviny (pokud teda někoho baví hodiny obíhat nody a těžit). |

BOE poskytne sanci aby craft o necem byl. Bez nej je opravdu o nicem. Max jako vypln casu, kdyz nema clovek naladu na grindeni lvl.
Osobne bych udelal BOE vse, nekde musi bejt money sink. Kdo neco chce at se snazi.

Funcom oznamil pocet akticnich subscripci (tj prodanych kopii). Cenu za produkt znas. Plat zamestnancu odhadnes. Naklady na zamestnance jsou zhruba dvojnasobne oproti ciste mzde. Fixni naklady (hardware a podobne) jsou vyrazne mensi, nez naklady na zamestnance. Velikost tymu asi presne znama neni. Pocitej rekneme 50 lidi po celou dobu vyvoje. Nejaka procenta sezerou distributori, nejaka procenta sezerou pripadni investori a publisheri. Pocitej sam.
Krom toho vim, kolik zhruba stal vyvoj UFO:AM a UFO:AS, kolik se zhruba prodalo kopii a jak to pokrylo ci nepokrylo naklady (pokrylo v obou pripadech). Tzn srovnavaci vypocet z druhe strany to take potvrzuje.
Proste toho prodali fakt hodne. Imho nejmene dvojnasobek, nez s cim pocitali jako s nutnym cislem pro navratnost investic. Navic nezapominejte na mesicni poplatky. Preci jen jsou to tri mesice (tedy dva ci mozna uz tri mesice poplatku), preci jen to dost lidi i hralo z tech, co si to koupili a poplatky navic nemaji ten problem s hladovymi dsitributory krabic. |

A pak je tu jeste samozrejme nepotvrzeny, ale logicky predpoklad. A to, ze dlouhou dobu vyvoje byl AoC tym vyrazne mensi a ziveny ze zisku AO a pripadnych offline titulu. |

testlive patch připravovanej na 30.8. Bind on Equip *All items Green+ are now Bind on Equip (BoE) or Bind on Pickup (BoP).
Ještě bych pochopil purple BoE, ale i blbý green? Se asi museli zbláznit. |

Jedine spravna vec u zelenek je to stejnak jedno (ty snad preposilavas zeleny veci nekomu jinemu ci je snad vyhodne prodavas :), ja snad komplet vsechno zeleny po pouziti trashnul vendorovi) a aspon z modrasku nebude "odpad", ale lidi si jich zacnou vic vazit a i trzni hodnota se zvedne. Je to spravne, ted jeste udelat craft veci nejak zajmavy aby melo smysl je vyrabet. Doufam ze pridaji nejaky rare recepty, nebo nejaky questy na runy itemy, ktery nebudou zrovna jednoduchy udelat. Zaroven doufam ze brzo opravi ty gemy!
Jinak ja prodavam vendorovi naprosto vsechno... Zeleny i modry. Nema to smysl cpat na AH. Za tech par stribrnech to fakt nestoji. Jediny co ma smysl na AH prodavat jsou gemy. |

Podle zarucene oficialnich zprav ze zdroje jedna baba povidala, se dmg gemy nerfnou o 40%, Immutable/Inviolate padnou na 0.4 vsechno plati u gemu lvl 80. Na nizsich levelech to bude jeste nizsi.
Rare recepty planuji a oprava gemu viz vyse. Zatim co vim, tak nechali moznost mit tri stejne gemy v jednom kusu armoru. |

No na jednu stranu super, na druhou sem u svehu huntera trosku spolehal na ty +dmg gemy :). Takze craft ted bude spis jen do pve a siegu. S hunterem si ten +dmg equip udelam na raidy a siege se bude nejspis porad hodit.
Kazdopadne to bylo potreba, ta bila dmg od lidi s +dmg gearem byla silene OP. |

Hi guys,
Seeing some of the feedback on this thread I just wanted to explain a little of the issue from our standpoint. It is important to mention up front though that the data on test-live isn’t complete just yet, only part of our total resolution for the issues with scaling and value of item bonuses are currently deployed on the test-server. That was an oversight on our behalf. While yes, it is a test server, it would also have been better for you to see the changes as a whole rather than in parts. Ok, now on to the issue at hand!
The issues that have required we look at the item bonuses again are as twofold really:
The combined effect of invulnerability bonuses on gems and items were giving bonuses beyond the intended frames set down by our System Designers.
Secondly, percentage-based bonuses (including the much discussed invulnerability bonuses) did not provide the intended progression scaling through levels. (i.e. they were not scaling correctly).
Both these issues are now resolved internally, and you can already see some of the changes on TestLive now. However, as I mentioned above, unfortunately due to some of the data living in different places in the system you are only seeing part of the fixes on Test Live at the moment. We are working to ensure we get the rest out at the same time (and the scaling issues will hopefully be resolved across the board as and when this update is completed)
But let's just jump right into what has changed and to what, and get down to the detailed why and how of this matter: Starting at the top – the combined effect of stacking gems, or what we call the conglomerate effects internally.
Firstly it is important to note that the design of the gem slot system was always intended to allow users to slot all their slots with a single type of bonus if they so wished. The problem is that since the bugs mentioned above meant the budgets weren’t enforced correctly it meant those slots became far too powerful.
So that said, what do I mean by ‘conglomerate effects’ and how does it effect the way the items are supposed to be structured?
Let’s take the "Inviolate Cabochon Star Ruby" as an example, it is a gem that provides conglomerate invulnerability bonuses to all Physical damage types (the physical damage types being Slashing, Crushing, Piercing and Poison).
Compare that to a "Tenacious Cabochon Emerald" and you'll see that it only increases your invulnerability towards a single damage type, in this case Slashing.
Now imagine that each of these gems has strict budgets to adhere to, and that their total magnitude of effect can never exceed a certain threshold, and look at the gems again: The conglomerate effect gem does indeed yield the same magnitude of effect as the singular effect gem, but spread out over several effects instead of focused into one single effect.
- The "Inviolate Cabochon Star Ruby" gives 0.4% invulnerability to 4 damage types - a total of 1.6% invulnerability.
- The "Tenacious Cabochon Emerald" however spends all of its "points", so to speak, on a single effect and provides the full 1.6% range to Slashing Invulnerability.
And the same applies to "Immutable" gems and their singular representatives as well, being of the same nature only aimed towards magical invulnerabilities (Cold, Electrical, Fire, Holy and Unholy).
The intention of these conglomerate effects is to provide the player with the choice between multiple invulnerabilities at the cost of individual effect magnitude and higher and more specialized singular invulnerabilities at a greater magnitude, making it a conscious choice what damage mitigating effects to aim for.
Next up there was the issue with percentage-based effects not scaling properly with level, effectively rendering the higher level gems redundant and causing an unnatural progression in the bonuses provided by items in general; a level 48 cloak providing a greater magnitude of effect than a level 75 cloak with the same stats is a prime example.
Obviously this is a highly illogical item progression and we had to work through the way the items were built and implemented to find where the logical error was. Now that we have found and corrected that scaling it does mean that some bonuses will rise and fall in value with the change. The percentage based modifiers did need to be reduced in places to provide better incentive to work up towards the higher level versions.
All other non-percentage based bonuses like damage increasing effects or expendable stat bonuses like health, stamina and mana has not been decreased at lower levels but rather been given a boost in magnitude on most levels and remains unchanged on a few - roughly 80% of all item bonuses has been boosted because of this change to maintain progressive development across levels.
Continuing the previous example with invulnerability, this resulted in the following progression for the invulnerability gems:
- Level 80: 1.57% (unchanged) - Level 75: 1.42% - Level 70: 1.34% - Level 60: 1.26% - Level 50: 1.18% - Level 40: 1.10%
This provides us with a healthy entry-level bonus while still preserving the progression through the levels.
Combining these changes can in some cases (where the player has crafted high-level equipment and inserted low level gems for instance) result in quite different end-results than before the patch, and we are truly sorry for the inconvenience this may cause some of our players, but this was a change that was highly needed in order to preserve item balance and item progression for the long term.
I hope that this information helps to spread a little light on the changes that are in progress and the reasons behind them.

COMBAT We're now done with the majority of the process to completely equalize Male and Female damage. We've balanced the animation-lengths for all "white damage" attacks as well as all "combo finishers", and furthermore we've matched the animation length of "moving attacks" to the lengths of "stationary attacks". As a result players should now experience no difference in damage dealt or time needed to execute an attack based on what gender their character is. Aborting multihit combos before they're finished won't activate their full effects anymore. Pet commands should now be more responsive. When aborting a multihit combo finisher, you now get a percentage of the full cooldown depending on how many hits you got in before the abort happened. (It's really in this time!)
CLASSES All Assassin, Barbarian, Bear Shaman, Conqueror, Dark Templar, Guardian, Herald of Xotli, and Ranger combo damage and stamina costs have been rebalanced to match the newly adjusted animations. Priest Archetype Spirit Aegis will now give 0.5% invulnerability to Holy and Fire instead of 1% Fire with the first rank trained. Assassin Combos granted by feats should now deal significantly more damage than before. Dark Templar The Talisman Mastery buff will no longer be removed upon death if the proper feat is trained. Guardian Shield Sweep combo will now scale more consistently across the first three ranks. Herald of Xotli Pillar of Internal Flame Rank II is now a three-step combo (including combo starter) instead of an instant cast. Necromancer Bone Horde debuff now uses the proper icon in the debuff GUI.
ITEMS Resolved an issue that caused item bonuses to not scale correctly. Many items are now 'bind on equip' meaning that once equipped the item can no longer be traded. Resolved the issue with raid gear that had lost it's bonuses in a previous update. The bonuses awarded by gems have been rebalanced. Unfortunately some of the gem bonuses were originally applied incorrectly leading to situations where too much bonus was given, mainly for invulnerability rating. These gems have now been modified. The benefit of the different level gems has been also been amended though, meaning that higher level gems should now be better than the lower level versions. All items Green+ are now Bind on Equip (BoE) or Bind on Pickup (BoP). Items which are BoE/BoP should now state this fact below their item name in the mouseover tooltip. When these items are equipped and bound to the character, the text below the item name will change to reflect this. A message will now ask if you are sure when attempting to roll "need" on a Bind on Pickup item.
PVP Players will now always see Massive PvP results, and the time left in a battle during battles. This information is displayed in the right top corner, below the minimap.
QUESTS Field of the Dead: Changed the level on the quest Entourage from 52 to 47. Field of the Dead: Changed the level on the quest Cleansing the Tomb from 53 to 48. Khopshef Province: Forbidden Knowledge - The Crumbling Codex will now despawn after it is picked up. Khopshef Province: Slave Cages will now show a visual effect when player is on the correct quest to interact with them. Pyramid of the Ancients: New Quests have been added to enhance your questing experience. Bosses have been upgraded to present a challenge to solo (or small groups) of players. Pay careful attention to the items they drop - they could be the key to defeating more challenging enemies. Pyramid of the Ancients: All quests should now be working. Tarantia Sewers: Orphans in the Hovel - Galeria should now talk to you after you kill her captor. Defeating Lord Atum-Keket in the Pyramid of the Ancients will now reopen the door to the Lord chamber. The teleport altar behind Lord Atum-Keket will now be visible at all times. The Master Torturer in Pyramid of the Ancients will no longer spawn multiple times in a row.
NPC / MOBS Toirdealbach's Tomb has had its level range adjusted from 50-53 to 46-48. Loot in Toirdealbach's Tomb has been adjusted to fit the new level range of mobs. Pyramid of the Ancients: The Harem Girls have been dressed up properly, and sexily! Many of the spells used by raid bosses will now ignore line of sight-checks, thus making it impossible to avoid them by hiding behind pillars and such. Many of the spells used by raid bosses will now be impossible to fully resist. The Dark Flames breath attack used by Vistrix will now use normal line of sight checks. The knockback strength on Kyllikki's Blizzard has been reduced. Yakhmars adds have been modified, they will no longer stun players as they did.
TRADESKILLLS Cloth Resource droprate in the world has increased somewhat. The Resource and Building playfields (Lacheish Plains, Purple Lotus Swamp, Poitain) have new NPC camps that will drop tradeskill items previously only available through the Alchemist's Cache. Some of these encampments will aggro, some will not. This makes these zones more dangerous, but allows lower level players a chance to get the tier 1-3 resources they need.
WORLD DESIGN Checkerboard textures should no longer appear on the ground throughout the world.
MOUNTS The horse ability Hind Leg Kick will now have a 12 second reuse timer, like the other horse abilities. The Skewbald Pinto Horse has had its stats adjusted to horses of the same tier and price.
GUI The "Quests" tab in the quest journal should now indicate the current number of accepted quests and the total number of allowed quests. An option to add a player to your ignore list was added to the "Add by name" dialog. If your trade is rejected, you will receive an onscreen message. Tooltips for NPCs on the map should now show up in the localized version of their names, instead of their default English names. You can no longer trade while in combat mode. You will see an onscreen message stating that a team member has joined your team. Onscreen feedback for a failed attempt at a trade due to a full inventory has been tweaked. Added a new option that allows the player to make his cloak invisible. Strange or seemingly out of place text in the UI should be removed
GENERAL Several causes of crashes and assert failures have been addressed and fixed. Important notification sounds now won't be interrupted by other sounds. A fix was implemented for item descriptions when switching between languages on the client. Fixed an issue that would cause some playfields to be empty after logging out for some time, and then back in. You can no longer send unlimited mail through the tradepost. If you send several mails and are informed via system message you cannot send any more, you will need for in-game time to pass before being able to send more mail. Ignored users will no longer be able to send you mail. Raid playfields will now kick players who are not in the raid. Fixed some animations that weren't blending properly

Update scheduled for next week We will be releasing the update currently being tested next week. (Most likely on Tuesday, 19th August so keep your eyes peeled for more details, but that's what we are aiming for). One of the features we have been working hard to resolve is the group based gameplay areas in each of the resource and building zones. These zones and related quests were always intended to be repeatable content in the same way as the Villa quests. This feature will be working properly in the upcoming version. While we had wanted to try and release the update this week, there are a couple of remaining issues to resolve with these particular changes and we want to have the version running on the test server over the weekend to be sure that the adjustments are working and that everyone will be able to use this feature after the update goes live.
We also have found a couple of those troublesome memory leaks over the last few days that should help players who are experiencing this issue. So with those two factors combined we felt it was worthwhile to take the extra days and incorporate the new fixes into the current update rather than holding them back for a future one (since it would be too risky to throw in untested changes in the update, even ones with the best intentions, the day before we were due to release the update.)
Lastly we would like to thank the increased number of players who are using the test server to help us ensure that we catch any potential (or even serious) issues before the update goes live. The time taken by players to help out in this way in the additional testing time is greatly appreciated.

Simply target the weapon and press the use button to get a replacement. * Only the defending guild can talk to the ballista builder NPCs. * The siege camps will now give a message when they are used when the city isn't vulnerable. * Player city guards are now friendly to the guild that owns the city. * Siege Weapons should no longer fail to initialize properly. * Ballista NPCs should always spawn when the city becomes vulnerable. * Vendors should no longer spawn if the vulnerability window opens when the building has just finished being built. * Members of the attacking guild should no longer get teleported out of the instance when zoning into a siege that is already in progress. * Siege Weapons should no longer report that the target is out of range when it's not out of range. A different error message will appear if the siege weapon was unable to fire at the target for some reason. * Massive PvP city NPCs should only be usable by the owners of the city. * Defending players in a siege will no longer get points for character kills. * Time left in the siege battle before it ends will now display correctly in Score window. * If no guild applies for a battle queue before the 24h prior to the siege are over, that battle queue will be locked and no guild will be assigned the Attacker role. * Mammoth Sweep and Rhino Sweep damage increased and changed to Siege damage to properly damage buildings.

* Due to popular demand, we've forced some of our female Derketo followers to burn their bras. * Tavern patrons in the Armsmans Tavern should no longer play strange animations. * Deli in the Pyramid of the Ancients now looks poor, and possibly insane. * Spiders will no longer jump back several feet when getting hit. * Travel NPCs should offer correct dialog options for travel. * New and updated loot has been placed in the Catacombs! * Acheronian Ruins - The Pict Bat Shrieker will now patrol with pets. If attacked, he will keep spawning pets so that he always has 3 pets with him. If he leaves combat, he and his pets will resume patrolling. * Acheronian Ruins - - All picts now have a specified class, and fitting weapon to this class. WORLD DESIGN
* Several collision fixes in Massive PvP Battlekeep playfields. * Corrected a few areas where players could previously get stuck in the Tarantia Noble District. * Conalls Valley night time environment has been altered to brighten the playfield slightly.
GUI
* Descriptions for Bandaging, Fast Healing, Mana Attractor, and Fast Recovery have been tweaked to be more consistent with actual function. * Added descriptions to a few of the more obscure potions in Hyboria. * The Combo Sequence Indicator should no longer get stuck when failing to complete a combo. * Hide my helmet/cloak options should work again. * Improved GUI Modifications to support the new PvP Consequence System. * Corrected the names of some chat channels to be more accurate. Added a few new chat channels. * The PVP XP bar can be toggled on and off. (Interface -> HUD) * Floating healing numbers over the character's head are back. * Fixed weird messages when teleporting in the massive PvP playfields. * The optional GUI component Combat Rose will now react to every keypress in a fight instead of just the first one. * Players can now use /<channelname> to talk to different channels. * Items will no longer show +0.0 to any stats. * A cause of flickering icons has been corrected. * Fixed an issue with building model requirements failing when the models were stacked in your inventory. * Crafted items will now display the "created by" name. Na testlive je nový patch s nerfem gemů. Jestli si někdo myslel, že předchozí nerf (resist gemy) byl brutální, tak to vůbec nic není proti tomu co je teď na testu. Resist gemy nerfli znovu a to včetně single (takže lvl80 gem teď místo 1.6% dává 0.3%, multiresist gemy 0.1 a 0.2). Dmg gemy spadly z +8.9 na +0.5, magic dmg na +2. Pokud to takhle zůstane, tak veškerý crafting půjde oficiálně do háje. Osobně jsem už dal cancel na accountu. P.S. PVP mě nezajímá, vidím to čistě z pve pohledu |
